As our team is expanding, we'll soon be shifting off to a new location at 9 Shenton Way sometime in October 06.  The new place is a very nice penthouse unit right at the top floor.  If you wanted to, you could literally get wasted with beer and walk off the edge of the roof (It would give the cleaners a very hard time the next morning). 

So our good friend Mr. Alex "dinner" tan is finally tying the knot and he is getting married in PJ in Sep this year.  Now the good question is do we drive up or do we fly?  Always a challenge with a kid in tow.

 

The other interesting questions is how many songs will Mr. Alex be singing at the wedding?  Will Mr. Alex be pissed drunk that night given that he is pretty weak at holding his liquor?  Come to think of it, he might sing his karaoke redition of "Unbreak my heart" after a few glasses of XO.

In case you were wondering what the beautiful purple flowered trees are, they are Jacarandas.  It took me at least 3 tries before I got from Jaca-something to Jacarandas.  :)

This marks on last day with Citrix.  I really like to thank the company for the great learning and growing experience over the last 1 year and 2 months.  However, it's time to move on and to have more time with my daughter and family.  The new job is also going to be exciting and I am looking forward to it.

 

I still had a free leftover Citrix exam voucher (courtesy from a Prometric error previously) so I took the CCA 4.0 paper today (1Y0-256).  Didn't get much chance to prepare but surprisingly it went relatively ok.  I think having been on a CPS 4.0 project just before didn't hurt.

Crazy?  I just think it is important to take advantage of the employee perks that my current companies give in terms of education.  :)

Certain interesting creatures known as consultants (of the variety of Homo Citrixeaus) are known to carry umbrellas during the typhoon period in Shenzhen.  As you know it Murphy's Law holds true once again and it didn't rain the whole night we were out.... :)
